Fauci, Fraud
Fauci has been at the center of one of the most massive propaganda campaigns in human history. His selling of Covid origins reveals a disinformation campaign that threatens humanity with biowarfare.
It's fitting that Fauci's last news conference at the White House should end with him being shielded by White House flack Karine Jean-Pierre from Diana Glebova's simple question: "Dr. Fauci, what did you do to personally investigate the origins of Covid?"
Glebova, reporter for the Daily Caller, asked the question three times and the reply was a "You’re being disrespectful." Jean-Pierre shut up other reporters who tried to follow up.
In fact, a case can be made that Glebova was all too respectful.
It's not simply that Fauci didn't do anything positive regarding Covid origins.
The evidence is that he did all in his substantial power to cover up the very real possibility of lab origin — at the very minimum. Further, he has long championed dangerous lab work, facilitated and funded it — and rebuked other scientists when they objected. Moreover, Fauci controls the purse strings for many scientists — so they feel obvious pressure to cater to his designs if they want to continue getting funding.
Emily Kopp of US Right to Know, which has FOIAed some relevant documents recently, said: "Anthony Fauci first called for the Feb. 1st [2020] teleconference that led to the ‘Proximal Origin’ letter calling a lab origin of Covid a conspiracy theory, spurred by concerns about the furin cleavage site. Fauci, Jeremy Farrar, Eddie Holmes and Kristian Andersen all lied."
Her reference is to “Proximal Origins” in Nature Medicine from early 2020 — a highly cited paper which dismissed the possibility of Covid lab origin using dubious reasoning as I reported in April 2020.
It may well be even worse than Kopp argues.
Jonathan Latham and I recently published the piece “Did West Africa’s Ebola Outbreak of 2014 Have a Lab Origin?” which argues that that outbreak could well have been related to lab work being done at the Viral Hemorrhagic Fever Consortium in Sierra Leone. The president and vice president of the Consortium are Robert Garry and Kristian Andersen — the two most vocal authors of the “Proximal Origins” paper. That is, Fauci seems to have pushed publication of a piece and picked signers who would have a gigantic incentive to dismiss the possibility of lab origins, since a public understanding of the possibility of lab origin would lead back to examining prior outbreaks — especially the 2014 Ebola outbreak.
Fauci would facilitate “Proximal Origins” getting published and then in April of 2020 cite it to dismiss the possibility of lab origin at a White House news conference.
Similarly, this Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” he told a fawning Chuck Todd on lab origin: “I have a completely open mind about that, despite people saying that I don’t. I have a totally open mind.” He then referenced papers by the same narrow clique of scientists who have been hell-bent on trying to discredit the possibility of lab origin. He and Todd ignored other scientists, as well as Jeffrey Sachs of the Lancet Commission, flipping and now highlighting the likelihood of lab origins for Covid.
Contrary to any pretense that Fauci has had an “open mind” about lab origin, consider his May, 2020, statement to National Geographic: "If you accept the premise, which is very strongly supported by scientific evidence, that it was not deliberately mutated and deliberately changed, and you say, if it was in the wild and evolving, the likelihood it jumped species naturally, someone will say, 'Well, maybe somebody took it from the wild, put it in the lab, and then it escaped from the lab.' But that means it was in the wild to begin with! [laughs] So that’s why I don’t get what they’re talking about. If it isn’t manipulated in the lab and you’re trying to say it escaped from the lab, then how did it get in the lab? It got in the lab because somebody isolated it from the environment. So that’s why I don’t spend a lot of time going in that circular argument." Video.
Fauci basically argued that if a deadly virus is deep inside a cave and is collected by lab workers and taken to a city of millions and is then released from the lab there, that that should somehow count as natural origin.
This deranged statement should immediately have driven him from office.
But there was a massive propaganda push throughout the mainstream and scientific media and establishment.
National Geographic (which has long shed its scholarly independence, having been swallowed by the Murdoch empire in 2015 before a majority stake was sold to current owner Disney) would produce a film on Fauci. Released in September of 2021, the trailer featured voiceover from his own daughter about what an upstanding individual he was. It got so many dislikes in October 2021 that it may be the actual reason YouTube stopped publicly posting dislikes on videos soon after.
Fauci has been in his job since 1984. That’s just about as long as most people in the US have been alive.
While many of the left had been critical of Fauci regarding his policies on AIDS, he rode out those controversies and many a “progressive” would go on to swallow Fauci’s absurdities hook line and sinker during Covid.
Fauci spearheaded more funding for dangerous lab work following the false flag 2001 anthrax attacks. Any independent investigation of Covid origins should not — as Fauci argued on NBC — be a meshing between scientists from the US and China who he has high regard for. He is at minimum an interested player. His past statements and actions were deceitful and any genuinely independent investigation should view him at the least as a person of interest.
There should not be a collision between the US and Chinese establishments. To the extent that they were both dealing with biowarfare — making deadly pathogens more deadly — that should be exposed and both should be held accountable for their actions which may have killed millions and now endanger billions.
Remember when Fauci got $1million from a Holocaust Memory Group and he compared his path with those who listen to the voices of those who died in death camps? Weird comparison given that he came to the NIAID when they were still running Tuskegee and cut his chops experimenting on the terminally ill before those pesky Review Boards.

"Drawing a line between its mission of Holocaust remembrance and the ravages inflicted by the coronavirus pandemic, the March of the Living honored Dr. Anthony Fauci with an award for “moral courage in medicine” on the eve of Yom Hashoah, Israel’s Holocaust commemoration day. The award to Fauci, who for decades has been the top U.S. official handling infectious diseases, culminated in an online program on Wednesday called “Medicine and Morality.” In his acceptance remarks, Fauci referred to Maimonides, the medieval Jewish scholar and physician. “Maimonides reminded us that goodness and evil coexist, but that we are free to choose one over the other,” Fauci said. “I believe that the healing arts lie on the path of goodness, the same path, all of you have chosen in remembering and listening to the voices of those who perished in the Holocaust.”
Nice work that you and Jonathan Latham did on this, Sam. (Jonathan was a supporter of my anti-madnate article last year [https://thepolemicist.substack.com/p/danger-to-society-against-vaccine]) . Here's my rather particular take on Tony Fauci, my fellow high-school alumnus: https://thepolemicist.substack.com/p/danger-to-society-against-vaccine
