"Gain-of-Function" Lab Work is Euphemism for Bioweapons
Is Musk looking to end biowarfare or to give more power to the Pentagon and CIA?
Twitter CEO Elon Musk on Wednesday likened “Gain of Function” lab work to the creation of bioweapons.
This is something I’ve been saying at least since early 2020. Francis Boyle, who wrote the U.S. implementing legislation for the Biological Weapons Convention, has been saying it for decades, see the documentary “Anthrax War”. Boyle just appeared on the infamous Alex Jones Show warning of the proposed pandemic treaty — arguing it is a remarkable power grab by WHO that brazenly violates the U.S. Constitution. (People should look at arguments being made and evidence, not deride the outlet that important information might come from. I’m sure Boyle would be happy to have his analysis aired on CNN or “Democracy Now” but apparently invitations were not forthcoming.)
Gain-of-Function is a ridiculous euphemism. What “gains function” is the pathogen. It’s lab work that makes viruses and other pathogens more deadly and/or more transmissible.
See my interview with “Perspectives on the Pandemic” from May of 2020 (this interview got tens of thousands of views the first day or so and then came to a screeching halt, it was clearly shadowbanned by YouTube/Google).
Musk indicated that Obama put such work on pause, but that’s not really what happened. In 2014, Obama placed a pause on federal funding of such dangerous lab work. He didn’t actually put a stop to such work. Moreover, Obama allowed exemptions to this funding pause. One of the exemptions funded was work done jointly by U.S. scientists from the University of North Carolina, Harvard and the Wuhan Institute of Virology and may well have cause the Covid pandemic. This work — which had funding from USAID and EcoHealth Alliance not originally acknowledged — was published in 2015 in Nature Medicine.
It’s amusing — and very fitting — that this article continues to have this note attached to it:
In other words, this note is saying: Don’t think for yourself. Don’t examine information. Don’t use the brain that the Creator gave you to find contradictions, to do independent inquiry. Simply believe what “scientists believe” because we told you so.
Notably, Obama put the funding pause in place on October 17, 2014. The very same day, he named Ron Klain “Ebola czar”. Klain is now chief of staff in the Biden administration. An obvious question: Did the Obama administration suspect that the 2014 Ebola outbreak was caused by U.S. labs at the Viral Hemorrhagic Fever Consortium in Kenema, Sierra Leone? See the recent in-depth investigation by virologist Jonathan Latham and myself: “Did West Africa’s Ebola Outbreak of 2014 Have a Lab Origin?”
Now, this subject is near and dear to my heart. I went on a limb and have repeatedly tied the origins of the pandemic to biowarfare.
If Musk really wants to do the right thing here, which would be amazing, he needs to reinstate people like Dr. Meryl Nass and stop the shadowbanning and games. Yesterday. And then seriously keep raising this. Nass, like Boyle, has been warning about the proposed pandemic treaty.
But we have to continue to scrutinize Musk.
I’ve likened his political role to that of Trump. And I’ve outlined how Trump is the opposable thumb of the establishment. That is, Trump appears to stand in opposition to the establishment, but in fact helps it grab more.
So, Trump seemed to deride NATO, but in the end his “attacks” had the net effect of actually strengthening it. He effectively stole the crit of NATO from people who wanted to end it and made it more powerful.
Musk could end up playing a similar role with respect to biowarfare. There are indications that some “critics” of the current system want the biowarfare to be more squarely done by the Pentagon, CIA and other agencies and less done by USAID (under the State Department) and the NIH.
This would not be progress.
But it could be the consequence of where people like Musk might end up taking things. The point is to stop biowarfare, not to buy into a shell game of agencies vying for influence and ultimately working toward the same horrid ends in service to the same overall establishment.
Three years ago, many people thought biowarfare didn’t exist. That that genie had been put in a bottle. That was wrong as I and others repeatedly argued. Now, the sensible thing is to end it. Musk and some Republicans could have in mind to in the name of “transparency” acknowledge that it’s biowarfare, have a corrupt WHO regulate it, and in the name of “honesty” put it more openly under military control.
love the ‘opposable thumb’ analogy. works perfectly; and the analogy has legs. seems it’ll apply to most all White House occupants vis-a-vis their banner issues and major contrasts with power. none since JFK got around to confronting power. i can’t think of any reform [that’s not reactionary; e.g. Reagan’s platform] that’s survived.
it’s some kind of jujitsu.
Re: Francis Boyle appearing on Alex Jones' Info Wars show. Sorry, but I totally reject his appearing on that show. It's guilt by association. It does way more harm than good because people on the other side of the vaccine and Great Reset issue, especially those sitting on the fence, can say, "Aha! This guy's take on bioweapons is garbage because of the company he keeps!" Alex Jones is trash, the lowest of the low. He ruined the lives of innocent parents whose children had been murdered at Sandy Hook Elementary School by claiming they were phonies, actors. Absolutely revolting and unacceptable. And why did he do it? To suck up to the NRA and its followers. There are other creeps, enablers of racists and white supremacists like Tucker Carlson, but a Republican like Sen Ron Johnson is to be applauded for hosting those valuable public sessions of doctors, researchers, whistleblowers revealing who is behind the fraudulent Covid scheme and the damage it has done
