Today, I questioned spokesperson Matt Miller about USAID funding of such work -- just after The BMJ reported that funding for such viral collection work was just cut off.
It seems clear that Matt Miller had his script in hand, anticipated your question and then treated you like a hostile witness in a jury trial rather than a reporter trying to do his job.
