Dear Sam. I am often derided here in the USA because I am living in France.

We are fighting OUR battles here (not denying USA influence).

In my honest opinion we in Europe are screwed because we followed the USA.

WE know that we can make it better/we are on the streets trying to get shot of Macron.

It may not work BUT we are trying.

Where are the US people deriding the stupidity taking on the Circus?

We are here! Swimming against the stream to get out awareness of lawful candidates. With the potential for enough votes to win the Electoral College. Or, with gravity, ask why not.

Why may I ask are you NOT on the streets.

You know that politicians do not read your letters?

To be in the streets people need information. Did you view the video in my link? Confronting politicians isn't just for them, it gets complaints on the public record, with sufficient publicity something politicians must attend to or lose audience and votes.

How much energy has already been expended in the streets? A single path leads to extinction. These days I think we need every way we can find to reach everyone possible - for a strong message to coalesce.

P.S JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT DOESN'T MEAN IT ISN'T HAPPENING. Sam Husseini is a great example of a mild mannered insightful Superman truthteller-to-power! Have you seen Code Pink, Grayzone, and other independent media individual congressional confrontations? A picture sometimes worth millions of lives.

See the video shorts here -https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=code+pink+confronts+congressman

And here,

Yes. I watch both.

Agree we need to do everything possible.

Yes, Americans are in for some shock and awe in their own country and not by a foreign nation, but their own. I have had to say No thank you to God, myself having no means to raise a fifth child. No thank you and I give this child back to your loving care. I am supposed to feel guilty but I know I would have felt worse had I given said child up for adoption, or tried to raise the child in a world full of lies, deceit, and a level of inhumanity seen only in Stalin's time orchestrated by the hugely Jewish populations in Bolshevik Revolution. I dare say, there is reason the Jews were so murderous and what goes around comes around. I will not add my name or my vote to either party and am doing my best that to vote for either, is a vote for genocide. Again, what goes around, comes around. I wonder what people make of the plethora of cop cities and prisons being developed in the USA; the signals apparent when doctors are censored and their license to practice taken, when journalists are attacked for their reporting which holds the "official narrative" to account, and students no longer can find a higher education that welcomes their voices. Remember who they come for first.

I am sorry you had to say 'no thank you to God'. I imagine this was a very difficult decision for you and the child's father. Many have wrestled with this.

A basic tactic of any 'project' is to break it into small parts and and destroy/conquer. Repeat until victory is achieved.

Anyone who has not read even an executive summary of "The Art of War" and then the Bible to understand your enemy, is in for a big wallop.

Paula I applaud you..

No applaud necessary. Just been studying all of this for many years along with memories of our history youth are never taught. I am have some higher ed, but I am more an autodidactic learner and I embrace what seems right for all (except the elite). Have, simply put, lived through too many years of lies, deceit, and promises all made to fool us. I'm fooled no longer.

Dear Paula. Never deny applaud.

We are all in the same boat right now.

There are those inside Israel who stand for justice and humanity, made up of committed Israelis and Palestinians working together to protect the Palestinians. We need to give them all the support we can. They are taking huge risks.

The best thing Pope Francis could ever do is to go to Gaza, or now, to the West Bank. Make his stand in Bethlehem. He has an opportunity that is unequalled, to say "no" to genocide. Not in our name, not on our watch.

Please sign the petition and share widely.

Let us also support UNRWA. If our governments won’t act in accordance with humanity, then we will. https://www.unrwausa.org/donate

A little off topic but why hasn't the pope excommunicated Joe Biden? Or at least refused to receive him? Actions not words.

But we can name the anti-war candidates here. Dr. Jill Stein, Dr. Cornel West, Claudia de la Cruz, in my preferential order. Let's not fall into the "two-party" trap yet again.
