Vindman as the interagency consensus) and the military-industrial or pharmaceutical-industrial complex, one trick ponies like RFK Jr. aren't going to meaningful change things. The very fact he's running as an independent means he identifies with the Dem Party sufficiently, even on a legacy basis that at best, he'll make modest course corrections. It's not been the party of his father for essentially two generations, much less that of FDR.
